OK, so I had this problem to where my Far Cry 4 wasn't saving so I checked around and I found out that it actually was saving but the game wasn't reading where the save was at. Here is how you fix that.

FIRST OFF TRY RUNNING GAME AS ADMINISTRATOR FIRST!!!!! Go to your Far Cry 4 installed file usually C: / Program Files (x86) / Ubisoft / FarCry 4 2. Find the bin folder and click on the 'SaveGames' Folder 3.

Copy the saves in the folder (Should be marked 1, 2, 3, and so forth) 4. Go to your documents and find your ubisoft folder (if not create one) 5. Create a folder inside that ubisoft folder 'Far Cry 4' 6.
